Production Operations Trainer (Offshore)- Morecambe

On behalf of an independent Operator, I am looking for a Production Operations Trainer to work offshore on their asset in Morecambe. This is a 18 contract with the possibility of extension, paying a date rate PAYE, Inside IR35.

Based offshore, this role will support the training and competence of the clients Production Technicians and CRO’s.  The role is is also responsible for providing a review and amendment as required of the structured asset familiarisation training program, to ensure a consistent standard training programme is delivered.

Responsibilities:

• Review and amendment as required of asset familiarisation and training plans to aid efficient presentation for formal assessment, to aid timely delivery of competence targets.
• Review and amendment as required of Units of Competence and training documentation to ensure learning material is relevant and up to date.
• Provide a mixture of immediate CRO training in conjunction with production Technician, Gas and Non-Gas Training as per the requirements of each mobilisation.
• Liaising with, and be the focal point for, the training and competence team to assist in arranging training courses as per candidate progression and requirement.

Requirements:

• Educated to at least ONC level or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of SSoW procedures.
• Understanding and working knowledge an electronic permit to work system, P-Vison or ISSOW
• Understanding of the principles and practices of SIRPS
• At least 5 years’ experience in production/CRO process and procedures.
