Responsibilities

Weatherford are looking for an experienced Drilling Supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure the safety and accurate position of the rig moves
• To ensure operations are implemented within the agreed time scale and budget
• Implement effectively and develop operational procedures
• Overseeing all phases of well operations
• Coordinate various operations simultaneously
• Ensure that both drilling rigs and equipment are fit for purpose
• The lead investigator on any incidents
• Develop contingency and emergency procedures such as well control etc
• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar Drilling role working on LSTK projects
• Re-entry experience is essential
• Fluent in both English and Arabic
• Experience of working within the Middle East required
• Mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs
• Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills
• Self-motivator, self-starter
