JOB TITLE: Technology and Security Architect

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT and security architecture to effectively support the Petrofac IT strategy.
• Responsible to Create, Run and Maintain Architecture Framework and standards.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of projects implemented in Azure, ensuring alignment with best practices, security standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Develop and enforce governance frameworks to maintain the integrity, scalability, and security of Azure-based solutions.
• Supports all architectural disciplines and champions architectural initiatives across the Pillars.
• Reviews existing processes and establishes metrics to improve processes, as well as support of all architectural disciplines under their direction.
• Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains.
• Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of complex integration projects involving ERP systems and Azure cloud services.
• Leads the Architecture review board and ensures that the solutions are compliant with target-state architecture models.
• Aligns architecture strategy with business goals.
• Defines, explains, and advocates technology strategy.
• Develops and communicates architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Leads and facilitates the creation of governing principles to guide Architecture decision making.
• Manages exceptions to architectural standards.
• Reviews and/or analyses and develops architectural requirements as needed for the Petrofac.
• Ensures the conceptual completeness of the technical solutions.
• Approves modification of the enterprise architecture to accommodate project needs.
• Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.
• Ensures recommendations are based on business relevance, appropriate timing, and deployment.
• Collaborates with project management and IT leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.
• Design and Implement Security Controls for any new infrastructure implementation.
• Understand and documents Security requirements from various stakeholders like Customers, Regulators, and Internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Security, IT and vendors to ensure all implementations are according to the Security requirements of the Project and agreed specifications.
• Develop and Report metrics across all implementation projects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing Architecture Framework conduct assessment and ensure compliance with Technology and Architecture Framework.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Certification in Togaf, SABSA or a similar level of Architecture certification.
• 10 years of experience as an Technology Architect or Security Architect or in similar roles.
• Good Knowledge and certifications in Azure Cloud Architecture and Security domain.
• In-depth knowledge of various integration options available in Azure, including API management, Azure Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
• Ability to work in a complex and large enterprise environment
• Ability to interact with staff, peers and customers on a technical and professional level
• Experience of working in large enterprise Project teams with proven ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
• Experience in deploying large and complex projects in an enterprise environment.
• Good Knowledge of Azure Cloud.
• Should have worked on complex integration projects and should be familiar with various integration options available in Azure.
