Activities

As an Internal Control intern, you will report to the Finance Manager.

A strong involvement is necessary to understand the activities and specificities of TEGPA's activities.

In this environment, your missions will be the following:

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Internal Control :

• Coordinate the review and update of SOX control process and procedures by the control owners.

• Assist with the completion of the yearly ELC questionnaire and ensure satisfactory quality level of the answers and support documentation provided by control/ process owners.

• Creating, entering and updating TEGPA's policies & procedures repository

Update the mapping risk tool.

Participate and assist other team members in the following tasks:

• Define and update, in conjunction with the Management, the procedures and delegations of authority for TEGPA and TEGPAU.

• Ensure the proper functioning of the business management , the risk control, the availability of the procedures documents and the compliance with their application

Context & Environment

• The complex and fast-changing environment of commodities trading implies that support functions such as Internal Control develop and maintain a good understanding of the business to properly exercise their influence over control activities and add value by supporting the business.
• Internal controls norms are more and more stringent and require a regular update of the controls (ITGC, SOX business controls).
• Growth of GRP Trading activities (e.g. Power) at a fast pace. Related evolutions of IT Systems require adaptation of SOX controls.
• Changing organization (mutualized Support Functions, One Shipping, Desks covering multiple locations, TEGPL Branches) impacting internal control framework

TotalEnergies Gas and Power Asia ("TEGPA") is focused on trading activities (in the physical and derivatives markets) in the Asia Pacific region with respect to LNG, gas & power and dry bulk products such as petcoke and sulphur, as well as business development activities in the same region with relation to those products. With respect to LNG, in addition to its long-term contracts for the purchase of LNG destined for the Asian market and its long-term sale contracts with Asian buyers, TEGPA is very active on the physical spot market. As part of the Trading Division in the Company's Gas, Renewables and Power segment, TEGPA works closely with the Geneva Branch of TotalEnergies Gas & Power Limited and with the Gas Division's head office teams in Paris. TEGPA also takes care of the activities of its affiliate in Australia, TEGPAu and locally incorporated joint venture.
