JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Preservation Coordinator (KZ passport holders) to join our team in Tengiz, Kazakhstan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the coordination of project material receipt, storage, preservation, and disbursement activities in accordance with Client and Project policies and procedures
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective interfaces with procurement, construction, and engineering, and contractors for the preservation requirements through the logistic supply chain
• Responsible to ensure material traceability throughout chain of custody
• Accurately account for material and equipment in an appropriate database
• Continuous tracing of order status and timely reporting of results
• Control of the proper storage of the materials received by the Contractor 8. Review of job packages for material availability / purchase (MR/PO)
• Coordinate material planning activity with PWTP Construction including lookaheads for both Construction and Contractors
• Maintain tracking spreadsheet to ensure material can be easily identified for each job package
• Coordinate material preservation activity
• Support OS&D issues, Move Order (MO) process with the Material management team
• Provide weekly report of activities with detailed findings on preservation requirements and actions
• Knowledge of CMS program and incorporation assurance to the ERM system
• Periodic reporting of Preservation activity as required by Project Leadership
• Assist QA/QC inspectors on inspecting materials in Project Warehouse and various locations and phases of the equipment & material storage points
• Ensure that Vendors have preservation plans in place for each package prior to equipment arrival at Fabricators location, customs locations, Client and Project warehouse
• Review vendor Preservation procedures, develop and arrange sufficient space and needs are in place to receive and preserve Project Materials
• Assist in the review of preservation Action Sheets
• Participate in arrival inspections in warehouse, Custom's site
• Surveillance or Audit preservation inspection activities within Project lay down areas & Warehouses of responsibilities for compliance. Ensure clear inspection activities are completed with reporting expectations
• Monitors Project Preservation programs and ensures proper documentation and close out of work orders
• Maintain a data base of all preserved equipment, material, and verify daily Maintenance preservation activities carried out by the Contractor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Higher education
  • Work experience in the respective position no less than 6 years
  • Working knowledge of material tracking systems
  • Be familiar with Preservation methods for all construction materials and Equipment
  • Be responsible for maintaining materials and equipment in the correct condition, from arriving to the warehouse then passing the plant operations
  • Become knowledgeable of the industrial Codes, Standards, and practices as referenced by the Project and Client procedures
