JOB DESCRIPTION

The Shift Foreman is a working lead who also oversees work of night shift in coating plant. Will ensure all stations are meeting production quotas and facility remains on the production schedule designated by the Plant Manager. Must have the ability to make operational and personnel decisions to maintain a productive and efficient flow on the production line.

Responsibilities:

Ensure each station; thermoclean, blasting, coating, QC, are operating efficiently and hitting production quotas. Ensure each stations lead operator is following all NOV Tuboscope Standard Operating Procedures and QMS Procedures.

Assign coating plant operators their duties for the shift.

Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.

Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to Plant Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.

Performing quality checks throughout production runs.

Inform the Manager or his designee of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line.

Follow all Company HSE, QMS policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.

Ensure all QMS reports or daily production reports are being completed by plant operators.

Perform other various job duties that may be required by the Manager or their designees.

Job Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills/ability to conduct large group meetings to shift personnel.

Mechanical aptitude as demonstrated by prior experience.

Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions.

Self-motivated towards productivity improvements, quality, and safety awareness.

Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.

Willing to work overtimes, weekends and some holidays as needed.

Flexible and able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly, readily, and safely.

Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Experience:

• 2 years leadership experience in an industrial environment required.
• Prior coating and sand blasting experience preferred but not required.
• NACE certification preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent.
