The Data Engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders to support, even design, and develop analytical solutions and BI products according to the Technip Energies Business Intelligence strategy.

The Data Engineer will leverage his / her expertise in data engineering and programming to build robust systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information.

The Data Engineer will be part of the Corporate Digital Organization.

Job scope :

• Data Collection and Integration :

• Analyzing raw data from various sources.
• Developing and maintaining datasets.
• Improving data quality and efficiency.

• System Design and Architecture :

• Architecting and designing new data systems and tools.
• Evaluating business needs and objectives.
• Identifying opportunities for data acquisition.
• Collaborating with data scientists and architects on projects.

• Data Transformation and Modeling :

• Constructing datasets that are easy to analyze.
• Combining raw information from different sources.
• Developing and testing architectures for data extraction and transformation.

Preparing data for predictive or prescriptive modeling.

Profile:

Must have:

• Strong analytical and interpretive skills
• Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Familiarity with programming & modeling languages (e.g., Java, Python, DAX, M).
• Proficiency in SQL for queries and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in French and English
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse data sources.
• Passion for efficiency and aligning data systems with business goals.

Nice to have:

• Experience with big cloud platforms (Azure, Oracle Cloud, Power BI Service) is a plus.

Work experience: 10 years of similar experience

Minimum education level: A relevant degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
