We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client several SITE ENGINEERS who will based in SAUDI ARABIA on a long-term residential contract. This is a role is in the Power Equipment Rental Sector. They are looking for 7 Site Engineers (Electrical or Mechanical) with previous experience in the same role in the same sector. They need 7 site engineers with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience - Aggreko, Byrne Equipment Rentals, Energia MTC, Sudhir Power,..etc
Purpose :
The Site Engineer will be leading implementation of power rental projects. This role involves working closely with the project engineer, guiding technical teams, and ensuring the plant is operating in the best condition of company standards.
Good experience in operation and maintenance, installation, and commissioning of diesel generators.
Able to manage site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to maintain operation of diesel generators, transformers, and MV breakers.
Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of different types of diesel power generators and transformers and low and medium voltage electrical equipment.
Help technicians and electricians, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
Manage overall maintenance operations for reducing breakdown/downtime and enhancing operational effectiveness of equipment.
Maintain inventory for consumables and spare parts, ensuring availability for ongoing service and repairs.
Proactive in identifying and resolving problems.
Capable of individually handling the site as supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Engineering degree or Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Certification in Project Management and AutoCAD is highly desirable.
Training in power generation, distribution, and safety protocols preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical circuits, generators, transformers, and distribution systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD.
Knowledge of short circuit analysis and troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge of diesel engine troubleshooting and overhauling.
At least 3-5 years of experience in power generation or related field, with a focus on site engineering tasks.
This position may require limited travel within the GCC countries; candidates must be eligible to apply for a Saudi Visa.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and on-site environments.
Flexibility to work on-call schedules as site demands.
