In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are looking for a Field Ops Mechanical Engineer - VWR.
This position is located ONSHORE in CABINDA in ROTATIONAL MODE 4*4.

• The VWR Field Ops Mechanical Engineer will be utilized primarily to support SASBU concession wide efforts to liquidate the large volume of Vision Work Requests (VWRs).
• This position will work under the guidance and direction of the FE Ops Support Engineering Lead position in producing work packs, completing engineering design, developing cost, time and resource estimates, sourcing materials and interfacing with stakeholders (ops, construction, E&I, painting, etc) to progress execution of VWRs.
• This position will also be used to support the VWR campaign vessel, turn around scope readiness and potentially other project work throughout the concession.
• This position will be located onshore but expected to make frequent trips offshore including potential for overnight stays offshore or on the VWR vessel.

We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills:

• 10+yr industry experience with background in mechanical / piping system design and installation.
• Working knowledge of CVX and industry standards and specs.
• Small project management experience, ph1-5.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop work packs and resolve technical issues.
