About the job:

Kent is recruiting for a warehouse / office administrator based in Fawley Southampton on the FAST Project.

As a warehouse Admin, you will need: excellent Verbal, written & Interpersonal Skills, be able to work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve a shared goal. Ability to meet deadlines and accomplish work in order of priority along with having excellent organisation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the warehouse team ensuring all processes and procedures are followed.
  • Manages the flow of all incoming material requests and material issues, including creation of filing structure for all warehouse related documentation.
  • Verifies materials availability cross referencing materials allocation report and MMS 360 materials management system.
  • Notifies material requester when materials are ready for collection and follows up with requester until materials are collected.
  • Responsible for materials management system updates, Familiarize and understand where all materials and equipment are located & ensure accurate information is always on hand.
  • Generate various reports from the materials management system for reporting purposes.
  • Answering email enquiries.
  • Work between the office and warehouse environment.


Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
  • Ability to use PC & Software packages. MS Office.
  • Experience working in an oil and gas company in a administrative capacity.
  • Previous experience in materials office administration or similar administrative position.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of material management processes & techniques.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Ability to work in a challenging and demanding environment.
  • Ability to coordinate activities with other departments and team members.
  • Maintain the highest of HSE standards as per company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organization.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in the use of ERP systems, although specific system training shall be provided.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of disciplines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy essential.
  • Good English, written and verbal.
