To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Telecom Engineer who can help us succeed.


What will you be doing? 

• Main tasks given in PEM role description ‘Discipline engineer – Telecom’. 
• Preform all needed activities related to global design phase within Telecom as discipline engineer 
• Create work package within Telecom as discipline engineer 
• Doing follow-on and As-built activities within Telcom as discipline engineer 
• Act as deputy Discipline Lead within Telecom when needed

We think you should have some of the following:

• Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
• Minimum 2 year experienced engineer 
• Relevant experience and broad knowledge of deliverables within Telecommunications for the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and Equinor's technical requirements in addition to NORSOK standards. 
• Network design skills, including fiber optic and network cabling. 
• Installation experience 
• Personal Qualities: Accurate and organized, service minded, ability to work independently, teamworking skills. 
• Understand and follow activity schedules 
• Being able to take initiative, be flexible and motivate others. 
• Software Skills: Project spesific
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
