Aker Solutions’ Life Cycle segment focuses on execution of modifications & maintenance that improve operations and extends life span of energy facilities on- and offshore. The segment is also responsible for electrification projects on existing facilities as well as offshore maintenance for the renewables sector.

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for a Group Lead, Electrical Discipline who can help us succeed.


Position Responsibilities:
  • Make sure that the discipline deliverables are issued in right time and with the correct quality. 
  • Group Lead for the electrical discipline in the project. 
  • Interface against all disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production, and planning department. 
  • Adapt and maintain governing documentation for the discipline. 
  • Authority to activate measures and take necessary decisions to ensure the responsibility of the discipline is secured. 
  • Responsible for the disciplines scope of work is known and continuously is implemented in network and detail schedules. 
  • Delegation of task to colleagues within the group. 
  • Responsible for the construction and HSE friendly design is implemented in design/work preparation. 
  • Understand and act according to AKSO and the projects HSE policy.
  • Organize and lead meetings as required

Skills and Levels Description:
  • Master/bachelor’s degree, relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Good knowledge of rules and regulations. 
  • Good common knowledge towards other disciplines. 
  • Good knowledge of technical registers and planning systems. 
  • Min. 5 five years relevant experience. 
  • Leadership experience
