Job description

• Based in the UAE (preferrable)
• Availability for any short-term trips to our sites in Iraq
• EPC experience required, no PMC experience!
• Preferred nationality is EU, however we are also open to other nationalities.

General Scope:The candidate, reporting to the Project Control & Risk Manager, will be part of the Project Control & Risk team.Main Responsibilities:
Develop and review project schedule.Plan, coordinate, supervise and direct all planning and scheduling activitiesOrganize, implement, and maintain scheduling management system supporting identifiedprojects and their plans
Assist to set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project contractrequirements as scheduled.
Ensure that corporate planning and schedule standards are implemented and that allproject related activities comply.Interact with project team and project managers to understand scope of work and updatedetailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan.

Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas. Analyse critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around. Suggest management of risks affecting project schedules and interfaces Assist project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management  informed on project progress.
Conduct analysis to dete mine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE   Education Mandatory: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline15 years of relevant experience in supporting large scale infrastructure and land development projects. Experience Preferably with extensive experience working on similar projects in UAE. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Adept in using Primavera and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of engineering, construction tools and general processes for infrastructure projects.Masters the main IT/ERP tools2.
Accustomed and available to trips to site locations in Iraq.3.
Problem solving profile, spirit of Initiative, strong autonomy, and attractions towards the implementation of new procedure/process in structured context complete.
