Project: A strategic infrastructure program where Mace has been appointed as one of the delivery partners to provide expertise in managing and delivering key infrastructure projects by bringing specialist skills to support the client's programme of infrastructure improvements.
The role will be liaising and supporting the relevant cost, planning and risk resources, be a delegate for the PCM when required and facilitate the timely provision of summary reports as required.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing weekly and monthly reporting of packages, in line with the baseline data.
Managing the package with the aim of meeting the time, cost, nuclear safety, and conventional safety objectives of the package.
Identifying, and where possible mitigating, current or emerging issues related to the packages.
Being aware of the package progress in the level 3 schedule and monitoring progress with the team
Coordinating the multidiscipline matrix team- design, safety (nuclear + conventional) commercial and quality.
Identifying interfaces that require management and provide proposals for their management.
Ensuring CDM legislation is being adhered to throughout the course of the package. (Identifying any instances to the SPM where it is not).
Contract administration of external packages (drafting correspondence through CEMAR with sufficient time for S Manager approval - 7 days max).
Working collaboratively with contractors
Managing the quality representatives during the delivery of design or implementation by external parties.
Managing the expectations of stakeholders required to deliver the package- ICO, SCO, fire office, quality, FPAG, conventional safety.
Assisting and guiding the commercial team to develop tenders associated with the package.
Producing the scope of work.
Developing package-specific CDM information with the assistance of the design team.
Managing stage 2 change control documents production and presentation (developing change control associated with the package- working with the team to define the cost, schedule and risks associated with the change.)
Assessing the contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with the requirements - RAMS, ITPS, management plans.
You have a degree qualification and a member of APM, Prince2 or a similar professional body. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
