Project: This is a 3 million sq. ft. high-rise residential project in south Mumbai with a panoramic view of the racecourse, comprising of three 250 metres - 270 metres tall towers, 3 basements, and a nine-level podium structure with 60-70 habitable floors.

The role will be providing support in day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring of the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.

The role will be working alongside the Mace planners in developing construction strategies and sequences.

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the main technical adviser on construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
Implementing the pre-construction studies through the design and construction phases of projects.
Assisting in managing and delivery of the project.
Checking the plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
Liaising with the subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyor and the general workforce involved in the project.
Communicating with clients and their representatives includes attending regular meetings to keep them informed of the project’s progress.
Overseeing the quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Preparing reports as and when required.
Assisting in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

About you

You have a degree qualification and member of a professional body. You have significant experience in commercial buildings, office and convention centre. You have international project delivery experience.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have a main contracting, management contracting, construction management, project management or engineering background and be keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
