Louis Berger Services is currently looking for a qualified Passenger Services Manager to support a project at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.


Perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Air Terminal as directed by management, regulations, policies, Instructions and the Performance Work Statement. 



  1. Act as Alternate Station Manager when required.
  2. Responsible to safely manage and support all aerial port resources and operations to sustain a Working Maximum on Ground (WMOG) of four aircraft at one time.
  3. Ensure maximum aircraft utilization and on-time aircraft departures, including resolving situational issues, gathering, processing and disseminating information in accordance with Air Mobility Command Instruction AFI 24-605, Volume 2, and other applicable instructions.
  4. Monitors all flight line activities and takes appropriate acts to resolve any issues.
  5. Perform passenger service functions IAW AFI 24-605, Volume 2 and DTR 4500.9-R, Parts I and III and all guidance listed in the PWS.
  6. Responsible for the processing of passengers using automated / non-automated systems and ensure manual procedures are developed.
  7. Responsible for maintenance and operation of terminal security equipment.
  8. Responsible for Lost & Found and Mishandled baggage procedures.
  9. Maintain Space Available and Space Required passenger listings.
  10. Ensure all personnel are trained and comply with determining travel eligibility.
  11. Responsible for development and use of passenger briefings.
  12. Responsible for development of GATES X-man excel file input form as per the PWS.
  13. Responsible for coordinating delivery completed remote processing locations passenger information from as per the PWS.
  14. Responsible for all government provided equipment and reporting issues to the Station Manager.
  15. Establish procedures to assist passengers who have visa or passport issues as per the PWS.
  16. Establish procedures to coordinate transportation and lodging for in-transit thru-load passengers as per the PWS.
  17. Responsible for care and proper reporting of maintenance issues to the maintenance sections for all government and company provided vehicles.
  18. Ensure collection of orders for all flights as per the PWS and regulations.
  19. Ensure section personnel are properly trained IAW applicable regulations and requirement of the PWS.
  20. Monitors the screening exemption letter and provide the Station Manager updates when required.
  21. Ensure sterile passengers holding areas are properly used and maintained.
  22. Ensure that the AMC Commander’s comment system is available as per the PWS.
  23. Ensure personnel are properly trained and knowledgeable of hazardous/dangerous goods that are acceptable/unacceptable for passenger flights.
  24. Will ensure baggage is separated by destination as per the PWS.
  25. Monitors and ensure mishandle baggage is handled and documented as per the PWS.
  26. Responsible for development and implementation of internal funds audit procedures.
  27. Responsible for Mishandled Baggage Summary report as per the PWS.
  28. Transport passengers, aircrew and LBS employees.
  29. Responsible for monitoring flight line activities of section and other section personnel to ensure compliance.
  30. Ensure personnel are escorting trucks and buses IAW base guidelines.
  31. Responsible for Funds handling and accountability and per regulations and per the PWS.
  32. Process Distinguished Visitors (DV’s) working with Protocol office.
  33. Perform Supplemental duties in Passenger Service or other work centers as required by Station Manager.


  1. Must have four (4) years of working knowledge in performing Passenger Terminal Operations Services.
  2. Shall have extensive experience in GATES systems and be familiar with all air terminal and flight-line operations.
  3. Customer Services professional.
  4. Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs. Must be detail oriented, motivated and drive to perform at a high level. 
  5. Must be able to comprehend English to include reading and writing.
  6. Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  1. You will be required to maintain a valid passport. 
  2. You will be required to maintain Secret clearance.

NOTE 1:  The Passenger Services Manager will be required to work in all areas of ATGHS

NOTE 2:  The Passenger Services Manager is a physically challenging position; extended periods of standing, walking, pushing and lifting are required
