The opportunity

Project: Since the inception of the Mace PMO and project controls service offer, Mace has successfully delivered a wide range of projects, programmes and portfolios for their clients, building a breadth of knowledge and experience. Driving service excellence is a core Mace value, and exploring better and more innovative ways to improve their PMO and project controls offering is central to their ability to add value and drive business benefits for clients.

The information management consultancy practice lead will create and lead a new practice area within PMO Services. You will liaise with, and be the bridge to, our document management function and the IT consultancy (tools and technology) to provide a cohesive data and information management regime that links and supports both functions. You will also liaise with IT/technical services to ensure that our information management protocols and processes within PMO align to the wider organisation and data security issues.

One area where Mace is seeing a lot of demand is how we leverage our rich seam of data; our clients are beginning to show an increasing level of interest in how we apply data analytics and data science to our projects. From automation of the repetitive processes and reporting through to using machine learning to pre-empt risks and manage logistics. You will be a key element in how PMO Services responds and reacts to this challenge by structuring and defining data flows to support the business ambitions of both PMO Services and Mace generally.

You will provide and implement information management strategy for key clients and programmes as well as defining and improving information management across our business unit and beyond.
