The opportunity

Be a part of our data centre business, international contracting, that has established itself as a leader in the field of data centre construction working with large multinational blue chip technology clients.

The International Technology Business Unit (ITBU) is delivering a number of data centres across Europe - currently in Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands and Ireland with opportunities for further expansion in Europe.

Mace is looking for an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to join this rapidly growing and successful part of the business. You will be responsible for estimating, tendering and procurement of specified mechanical and electrical packages for the next phase on our new build data centre in Clonee, Ireland.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing profitability of project from inception to completion.
  • Negotiating of subcontractor packages and variation costs.
  • Developing commercial awareness of the site team and overseeing client and team communication.
  • Working closely with technical management team on the MEP package prior and during construction.
  • Agreeing accounts with quantity surveyors.
  • Overseeing the risk management and procurement.
  • Managing the supply chain.
