Overview

Louis Berger Services is currently looking for a qualified Passenger Services Representative to support a project at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.



Responsibilities

Perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Air Terminal as directed by management, regulations, policies, Instructions and the Performance Work Statement. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensure passenger service functions are IAW AFI 24-605, Volumes 2 and DTR 4500.9-R, Parts I and III and all guidance listed in the PWS.
  2. Responsible for all aspects of the safe and correct operation of Passenger Services.
  3. Process passengers using automated/non-automated systems.
  4. Gate passengers IAW all governing directives.
  5. Operate terminal security equipment.
  6. Perform Lost & Found and Mishandled baggage procedures.
  7. Maintain Space Available and Space Required passenger listings.
  8. Determine travel eligibility.
  9. Perform passenger briefings.
  10. Transport passengers, aircrew and LBS employees.
  11. Escort trucks and buses.
  12. Funds handling and accountability.
  13. Process Distinguished Visitors (DV's) working with Protocol office.
  14. Operate passenger buses, baggage conveyors, forklifts and vans and inspect daily utilizing checklists and AFTO forms and turn into maintenance for service or repair.
  15. Verify GATES X-man Excel file inputs are accurate as per the PWS.
  16. Work with remote sites to ensure timely delivery of passenger information as per the PWS.
  17. Control all government provided equipment and ensure proper use; reports any issues to the Passenger Service Manager.
  18. Monitor transportation and lodging procedures for in-transit thru-load passengers are being completed as per guidance.
  19. Ensure collection of orders for all flights as per the PWS and regulations.
  20. Monitor sterile passenger holding areas ensuring they are properly used and maintained.
  21. Ensure passengers are briefed on the AMC Commander’s comment box location and reports any issues to the Passenger Service Manager.
  22. Ensure passengers are briefed on hazardous/dangerous goods that are acceptable/unacceptable for passenger flights.
  23. Ensure baggage is separated by destination as per the PWS.
  24. Monitor and ensure mishandled baggage is documented as per the PWS.
  25. Perform and support Wing-Walker duties. 
  26. Perform Supplemental duties in Passenger Service or other work centers as required by Passenger Service Manager.


Qualifications

  1. Prefer two (2) years of working knowledge in performing Passenger Terminal Operations Services.
  2. Customer Services professional.
  3. Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs. Must be detail oriented, motivated and drive to perform at a high level. 
  4. Must be able to comprehend English to include reading and writing.
  5. Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  1. You will be required to maintain a valid passport. 
  2. You will be required to maintain Secret clearance.

NOTE 1:  The Passenger Services Representative will be required to work in all areas of ATGHS

NOTE 2:  The Passenger Services Representative is a physically challenging position; extended periods of standing, walking, pushing and lifting are required
