The opportunity
Project: First passenger cableway in London to provide regular transit over the River Thames and which is one the highest profile London attractions.
Mace Operate act as a trusted partner for TFL. To provide leadership and direction to the operations and maintenance teams to ensure the reliable and safe operation of the passenger lifts between the Royal Victoria Dock in the north and the Greenwich Peninsula in the south. To manage available resources, promote an ethos of team work and instil a culture of continuous improvement.
To ensure the various sub-contracted service providers deliver safe and consistent services and promote a culture of safe service excellence. To develop a relationship built on trust between the TfL client in addition to delivering performance data as is required to ensure that performance can be demonstrated and service payments are secured.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing service delivery, operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality of services provided are continually improved and exceed customer expectations.
Implementing best practice procedures in line with company policy and specified standards, for QSHEW, quality, environmental and technical standards.
Ensuring a high level of service is achieved through robust management of suppliers and measurement of performance.
Taking control and responsibility emergency situations which may involve a controlled disembarkation of the system using agreed contingency procedures. Forming part of the incident manager team for out of hours call outs.
Overseeing the financial management, budget responsibility and financial reporting to the client and Mace.
Providing commercial management. Designing, proposing and implementing new initiatives in order to drive volume, increase yield and improve customer satisfaction.
Minimising risk and maintaining or improving profitability against agreed targets.
Overseeing the relationship management with client, supplier and team relations.
Providing strategic and technical support.
Identifying and pursue opportunities for and with Mace.
Implementing commercial strategies agreed with the client, noting financial incentive targets and rewards as agreed with TfL.
Continuously developing and maintaining excellent customer service at all times, noting financial incentive targets and rewards agreed with TfL.
About you
Recognised QHSEW qualification (NEBOSH). Good understanding of FM services and compliance management. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships. You will have a facilities management or leisure background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
