Louis Berger Services is currently looking for a qualified Passenger Services Supervisor to support a project at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.


Perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Air Terminal as directed by management, regulations, policies, Instructions and the Performance Work Statement. 



  1. Act as Passenger Manager when required.
  2. Responsible for all aspects of the safe and correct operation of Passenger Services.
  3. Ensure passenger service functions are IAW AMCI 24-101, Volumes 6, 14, and 15, DTR 4500.9-R, Parts I and III and all guidance listed in the PWS.
  4. Verify that processed passengers using automated / non-automated systems are accurate and ensure manual procedures are executed without error.
  5. Monitor the maintenance and operation of terminal security equipment and reports issues to the Passenger Manager.
  6. Ensure proper execution of the Lost & Found and Mishandled baggage procedures.
  7. Ensure proper posting of Space Available and Space Required passenger listings.
  8. Monitor personnel training and ensures compliance when determining travel eligibility.
  9. Ensure Passenger Service Specialist properly announced approved passenger briefings.
  10. Verify GATES X-man Excel file inputs are accurate as per the PWS.
  11. Work with remote sites to ensure timely delivery of passenger information as per the PWS.
  12. Control all government provided equipment and ensure proper use; reports any issues to the Passenger Service Manager.
  13. Ensure passengers are properly assisted with visa and passport issues as per developed procedures.
  14. Monitor transportation and lodging procedures for in-transit thru-load passengers are being completed as per guidance.
  15. Monitor employees to ensure they are properly performing vehicle inspections and ensure issues are properly reported to maintenance.
  16. Verify collection of orders for all flights as per the PWS and regulations.
  17. Ensure personnel are properly trained IAW applicable regulations and requirement of the PWS.
  18. Enforce the screening exemption letter and provides the Passenger Manager updates when required.
  19. Monitor sterile passenger holding areas ensuring they are properly used and maintained.
  20. Ensure passengers are briefed on the AMC Commander’s comment box location and reports any issues to the Passenger Service Manager.
  21. Verify personnel are properly enforcing hazardous/dangerous goods that are acceptable/unacceptable for passenger flights.
  22. Ensure baggage is separated by destination as per the PWS.
  23. Monitor and ensure mishandled baggage is documented as per the PWS.
  24. Ensure funds are handled in accordance with establish guidelines and help the Passenger Service Manager to resolve issues found during internal audits.
  25. Ensure proper completion of the Mishandled Baggage Summary report as per the PWS.
  26. Task employees to transport passengers, aircrew and LBS employees.
  27. Monitor flight line activities of section personnel to ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
  28. Ensure personnel are escorting trucks and buses IAW base guidelines.
  29. Process Distinguished Visitors (DV’s) working with Protocol office.
  30. Perform and assign personnel to support Wing-Walker duties. 
  31. Perform Supplemental duties in Passenger Service or other work centers as required by Passenger Service Manager.


  1. Must have two (2) years of working knowledge in performing Passenger Terminal Operations Services.
  2. Shall have extensive experience in GATES systems and be familiar with all air terminal and flight-line operations.
  3. Customer Services professional.
  4. Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs. Must be detail oriented, motivated and drive to perform at a high level. 
  5. Must be able to comprehend English to include reading and writing.
  6. Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
  1. You will be required to maintain a valid passport. 
  2. You will be required to maintain Secret clearance.

NOTE 1:  The Passenger Services Supervisor will be required to work in all areas of ATGHS

NOTE 2:  The Passenger Services Supervisor is a physically challenging position; extended periods of standing, walking, pushing and lifting are required
