Summary

This is a part-time post of 19.5 hours per week not inclusive of meal breaks. This position is a job share position.

Job description

As a DIO Housing Estate Officer you will engage with Occupants, Contractors and Service Providers delivering a quality service for accommodation. The area you will cover for the South East (S.E.) London and Kent patch comprises of 982 properties

Responsibilities

You will carry out assurance of the National Housing Prime (NHP) core service delivery of contract deliverables in line with our process.

Attend 20% of all move ins jointly within your Area of Responsibility (AOR) ensuring results are accurately recorded.

Monthly physical reviews of grounds maintenance/play parks in line with contract specification and patch management, ensuring NHP are maintaining your AOR within the terms of the contract requirements, taking responsibility of all issues, failings and concerns, raising them in the first instance with your respective NHP Accommodation Officer (AO). Where resolution cannot be achieved you are to escalate to your line manager.

Conduct physical reviews of voids prior to move in, advising the NHP where meeting the required performance levels may not be achieved without resolute action.

You will be responsible for requesting, monitoring and assuring the delivery of additional services including maintaining a log of Statement of Need (SON) approvals.

Responsibility to monitor Revised Move In Standard (RMIS) and Additional needs disabled adaptations (ANDA) approvals/progression for Service Family Accommodation (SFA) in your AOR, assuring stated requirements are met, including quality and approving payment within your delegation, escalating any issues with quality or time related delivery to your additional works focal point.

You are to act as the service manager representative on behalf of the service manager within your delegations for your AOR for NHP delivery. Due cognisance is to be paid to collaborative business relationships in all contract liaison activities, ensuring the contract is delivered against the requirements escalating matters appropriately.

Attendance of monthly area meetings and 3 monthly regional meetings.

Report weekly to your line manager, activities, issues and trends in the NHP performance.

You are to work in collaboration with the NHP staff at all levels with issues being resolved at the lowest level through negotiation and discussion where feasible, developing a constructive working relationship whilst providing advice and guidance in the delivery of contract requirements using specialist knowledge and experience.

Support your colleagues across the region including Estate visits outside your AOR to help.

The London and Kent team comprises of six members of staff working to one Area Manager. There are two teams of three covering Kent, SE, SW, NW and Central London. These teams are based at Brompton and Northolt.
