MILL TURN MACHINISTS - RLC RONALDSWAY, ISLE OF MAN

Ronaldsway Aircraft Company manufactures a diverse range of precision engineered components and assemblies for use within the civil and defence aerospace sectors. Ronaldsway's most recognised products are major assemblies and complex components for companies such as Rolls-Royce and Martin Baker. RLC Ronaldsway is a world class provider of components & services to the Aerospace industry. Located on the Isle of Man, we are seeking an experienced Mill/Turn machine setter-operator to support our CNC machining division.

The skilled Mill/Turn machine setter-operator will work in the precision machining areas of our business. Their role will be to ensure that mill turned parts are produced to an excellent standard for our customers.

They will be working on various size mill turn machines including Traubs, Citizen E32, M32, M16, Mazaks i series and Gildemeisters.

They will have the ability to learn additional complex machining methods, have a fine attention to detail, with a desire to contribute to the continuous improvement of the section.

They must be somebody who believes in putting the customer first and be a person who is willing to learn various customer requirements to supplement their existing mill turn skills in producing quality parts on time.

Manufacturing Engineer - RLC Ronaldsway, Isle of Man

RLC Ronaldsway is a world class provider of components & services to the Aerospace industry. Located on the Isle of Man, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support our CNC machining division.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of defining and delivering efficient CNC machining processes for mill turn CNC machines. Strong fundamentals in CAD, CAD/CAM and CNC machining are required.

We are seeking a person with a "can do" attitude who will work as part of a team with minimal supervision to deliver world class results. You will be an integral part of an engineering team that defines and implements efficient defect free processes for new and existing product lines that are conducive with current aerospace manufacturing techniques.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be required to:

* Work effectively within a cross functional team to develop and produce equipment specifications and processes in line with existing guidelines, on time and within budget.

* Have good understanding of aerospace manufacturing systems.

* Interpret customer drawings, CAD models and specifications.

* Create and maintain production methods including validation of capability to original scope and final customer requirements.

* Provide NPI feasibility estimations and prove-out validation.

* Provide hands-on technical and operator training for new and existing machining processes.

* Work hands-on with machinists to develop new project roll-outs.

* Knowledge of EdgeCam, Vericut, Mazatrol, Heidenhain and Fanuc Gcode.

* Efficient in the use of 3D CAD systems. Eg Solidworks.

* Experience in fixture design.

* Strong problem-solving/problem-resolution skills.

* Demonstrate lean implementation and sustainability.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Understanding databases and the Microsoft Office suite of software.

* Provide technical support to customers, production cells and project teams.

* Experience with CAPEX justification and new equipment implementation.

* Define process flow for new and current projects using manufacturing system design tools and methodology.

HR Officer - RLC LANGFORD LODGE LTD, CRUMLIN, CO. ANTRIM

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the RLC team, a world leader in the Aerospace industry, supporting operations at their long established RLC Langford Lodge site, in Crumlin.

Job Purpose:

Provide support to the site HR Manager to deliver the strategic plans of the HR department in line with organisational requirements. The post holder will be responsible and accountable for supporting the full employee life cycle, and will be involved in all areas of the Human Resources function. You will work as part of the HR team in the provision of a comprehensive HR Service.

Main responsibilities:

The HR Officer will be responsible for supporting Recruitment & Selection, Employee Relations, Policy Development, Employee Development as well as pay and benefits administration. You will plan, organise and prioritise work within the HR Department. You will have strong communication skills both with internal and external stakeholders along with the ability to build good working relationships and influence outcomes. Key responsibilities will include:

* Co-ordinate all Recruitment & Selection activities.

* Provide advice and guidance to Line Managers and employees to ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures.

* Carry out administrative tasks to support the work of the department including maintaining the HR Information System and liaising with Payroll on pay and benefits issues.

* Support the management of absence at the site including liaison with the Occupation Health Service.

* Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives.

Essential Experience

* CIPD qualified

* Strong generalist HR background- with a minimum of 2 year's experience

* Working knowledge of recruitment and selection processes

* Ability to act on own initiative, be results-focused and provide solutions.

* Strong communications Skills

Desirable Experience

* CIPD Qualification Level 5

* Educated to degree level

* Experience of working in HR in Manufacturing

* Worked in a unionised environment

* Experience of managing change

Buyer - RLC Langford Lodge Ltd, Crumlin, Co. Antrim

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Langford Lodge team, at our facility in Crumlin, Co. Antrim Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead, the successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a strategic approach to supply chain management and the ability to work within a continuous improvement environment.

Some key duties include:

* Responsible for the sourcing of a range of components, materials, equipment and services

* Results orientated, you will establish and develop supplier relationships whilst continually reducing total acquisition costs

* Manage delivery flow of parts and services and communicate issues to manufacturing cells

Qualifications and Essential Experience:

* 3rd level qualification in a Business/ Engineering discipline

OR

* 3 years' experience in a similar role within a busy manufacturing environment

* 2 years' experience of using an MRP system

* MS Office skills

* Strong procurement experience within a manufacturing environment

Desirable skills, experience, competence:

* Aerospace/Precision Engineering environment experience

* CIPS membership or working towards

* Excellent communication and negotiating skills

* Experience in new product introduction and supplier assessment would also be beneficial.
