Our client is a well-established company based in Europe, managing and delivering project solutions to the engineering and contracting industries globally, including Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Heavy Industry, Construction & Infrastructure, Hi-Tech Industries.

They are currently seeking a Project Commercial and Contracts Manager for the expansion of a Chemical / Production & Manufacturing Facility located in Luxembourg. Our client is responsible for the Electrical, Instrument and Communications scope of work on this project.

The Commercial & Contracts Manager will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and reporting against the commercial plan for the project on a timely basis. Responsibilities will include implementing company policies, systems & procedures. Budgetary control of the Programme of projects through the development and use of the Cost Control Sheet. Resolving contractual and commercial problems.

Candidates must have a Quantity Surveyor qualification and at least 15 years or more of experience in Commercial & Contract Management and be able to navigate through various aspects of the Contract with ease having worked on a wide range of Contracts, including EPC, E&C, NEC, and FIDIC. Experienced with Claims and strong legal administration skills, commercial analytical skills and knowledge of risk mitigation measures. Previous experience in E&I Construction companies, especially in Chemical Plant, Refineries and Pharma.
