The Lead Technical Developer is responsible for providing technical support to small, medium size projects.
Work with development & QA team members, product managers / SMEs, delivery leads, and architects to ensure quality delivery of projects(s). This will be related to designing, technology, presenting technical solutions, source control management, and continuous integration/deployment environments and making sure that the team is heading in the right direction, assisting them to solve technical problems, and facilitating the right tools/help to them to build effective software. Solve project-related technical problems and guide in technical areas where the team may need guidance.

What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications.
- Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good coding practices and habits.
- To ensure that the development and unit testing is by established standards.
- Participate in reviews of solution designs and related code.
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Package and support deployment of releases.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
- Degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience with Web and Mobile App Development (Android, iOS, and Windows) is preferred:
- Preferred technical Skills include:
- UI - Angular, Ionic, JS, Html, CSS
- Server - Java, Spring Framework
- Database - MySQL, CouchDB, PouchDB (Offline data storage on Mobile)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good knowledge of product development life cycle with agile development methodologies
- Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming and extensive experience in designing and product development.
- Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments.
- Experience with multi-threading and concurrency.
- Experience with debugging, performance profiling, and optimization.
- Strong data design and data management experience.
- Ability to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
- Good communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions, as well as the ABS Employee Safety Policy.
