Performance Engineer- Saudi Arabia- Dammam


Role Summary :

The Performance Engineer works closely with the customers to create custom performance reports in order to identify performance opportunities. The Engineer supports customers via phone and email support and supervises operations team and all supporting roles.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Analyzes the performance of the drilling rigs based on system measurements.
• Uses the system to create custom reports and analyze drilling data and identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver various demos.
• Conduct value/performance analysis.
• Present webinars and technical presentations.
• Responsible for driving quality and process improvement.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve efficiencies in operations to Management
• Client follow-up regarding extended issues and resolutions will be a key focus
• Create and document lunch and learns and additional training material
• Perform deep dives on customer driven issues and concerns
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to improve Standard Operating Procedures to increase workflow and efficiency
• Build customer dashboards and support customers building their own dashboards
• Assist in training of all new employees
• Follow communication protocols for various customers to resolve issues
• Collaborate with our Operations Automation team to improve efficiencies through automation and specialization

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of drilling and WITSML
• 8 years in drilling industry
• Rig experience as DD/MWD
• Ability to work an on-call schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well with teams.
• Thorough knowledge of navigating modern web sites
• Analytical thinking skills
• Ability to identify anomalies and problem data.
• Ability to train others.
